Obituary for Marco Faustmann

We are mourning the sudden death of a precious colleague: On February 20th, Marco Faustmann, PhD student in the lab of Prof. Christoph Dehio, died in an avalanche while hiking in the Swiss mountains. The graduate community at the Biozentrum has reacted with shock and great sadness, as Marco was a wonderful colleague and friend to many of us and was well known for his bright, cheerful and friendly disposition. It is hard for us to grasp such a tragic and sudden loss.

We bid farewell to a fine and truly remarkable person and express our deepest condolences to Marco’s family.
